New Mushroom Food?

Turns out not all is as it appears in New Mexico...

Trifecta has been having some issues with it's feedstock! We usually have fed our mushrooms a proprietary mix of coffee grounds, minerals, and sawdust. Since moving to New Mexico, we've realized that the sawdust we have tried to purchase as 'hardwood' actually contains a significant amount of pine. Pine has natural antifungal chemicals which make it a bad choice for mushroom food. Trifecta has had to slow production as we work to find a solution to our growing problem!
